Looking at my previous posts and all seem to fall into one category: Lifesigns. Just a post without a lot of text.

I am still around, still alive and usually very busy with either work, life or me just being me and wasting time on the internet instead of doing something more constructive or productive. At times even I get scared how much time seems to fly by when I am online. It is as if I loose the feeling of time when I am consuming news and virtual entertainment.

Oh well, need to get more of a grip of myself and break this bad habit. Thinking about introducing a tech-free day into every week. But when is the best day to do so? Which day is best spent without phone, without email, without being online and without listening to music (the only thing playing music here is my computer). Monday through Friday I am usually at work (or at least try to be), may it be for my employer or for the university. Saturday is the day I use to recover. Usually sleeping in late and actually allowing myself to waste time. But all day sitting at home is boring. And to connect to friends, I would need to use the phone or the computer. Since everyone got mobile phones, most meet-ups can still change last minute. And on Sunday I usually sort out all my stuff that accumulated in the past week and make my plan for the coming week. And for that I rely on technology as well. Hmm... really seems that I am delaying the decision of choosing a techfree day instead of adjusting to it. Guess I am destined to become CPO: Chief Procrastination Officer

Quite a while ago, I posted a few pictures of how I looked when I was a lot younger. Since I got a new hair cut and new glasses in the past months, I feel that it is time to post a few more.










For some reason, I look on the 2009 picture a lot more bald than I do in the mirror... and one of the first comments that I got was "Now you look your age".

What is your opinion?

Ok, again it has been a while since I blogged and there are a few things that I have to catch up with. Currently I am at my parent's home in Münster and going through all my stuff that I have still stored here. Throwing away a few things, taking some with me to Tübingen and still leaving most souvenirs here. Found some old IDs of mine, guess I have always been looking a bit nerdy
